Hi i just wanted to share my laptop specification with you.
- Intel Pentium M processor 735A (1.7 Ghz, 400 Mhz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache)
- 15.4” CrystalBrite LCD
- Intel Graphics Media Accelator 900 has 64mb for games
- 60 Gb hdd
- 512Mb DDr2
- 802.11b/g
i have two laptops of this configuration.

hi, it seems u r conned by Bahria University Islamabad as me. They sold these notebooks but could not find any driver for this laptop online. Please mail me as well if u find anything.

Khalid what drivers you are seeking and for which operating system?? and by the way i am from karachi campus.
taimur dear i never heard of dhok kala khan rawalpindi before in my whole life whats the connection between acer laptop and dhok kala khan.
And if someone is seeking for drivers for acer laptop let me tell clear one thing that drivers are provided with cd for windows xp and they pretty worked for me for vista. I have tested xp,vista and linus operating system on this laptop.
So if you ask for a driver please let me know for which operating system you want it and driver for what lancard, soundcard or modem.

hi, i am from karachi campus as well, my notebook was workin fine that suddenly when i powered it on after using it a couple of hours ago, no screen is appearin not even the acer’s name that motherboard company name………..
i cant access to my setup even wat is the problem with it

Um check if you laptop is charged. And then check your adapter by using it with another laptop same the case for testing battery.
If nothing helps out your mother board or screen is not working call acer support.
On thursdays their support officer visits bahria university show your desktop to him after checking everything I have mentioned above.

Need to know what standard of wifi is bahria using in the university, is it “802.11b” or “802.11g”. Or does it use both “b” and “g”.

since they have linksys switches or routers (Access Points) i can say they are supporting both B and G standards.

Hi Najam/Everyone,
I have a Acer 1642 Laptop. Unfortunately its motherboard has gone bust and I need a replacement for the motherboard. Najam 1642zwlmi motherboard ZL9 is interchangeable/compatible with my laptop aswell. Where are you from and can you arrange a motherboard for my laptop by any means I’d be grateful.

i have Acer aspire 1642ZNWLCi, which is the same you do, i have a problem that i dont have any drivers, my little brother lost the CD’s, so if u can send me all the drivers please, it would be great. thanks to u, hope i can get them ASAP because i have a lot of work to do in the laptop
